Classin’ Up the Joint
We really know how to class things up over here as we prep for the new window to be installed tomorrow morning. Since we don’t have a dumpster anymore, I’ve specifically asked the guys to pile all the garbage on the front lawn before hauling it away later, so I can get a picture of our shanty shack today.

According to those 'in the know', "they don't make glass like this anymore". Too bad we have no use for the super-thick glass panes taken out of the old window.
I loved that they brought over some insulation and used it to line the window cavity so I wouldn't get cold tonight. So thoughtful.
My favourite part of today was looking in the wine fridge and noticing that the guys put in a bottle of red and a bottle of white – I still have to find all my wine which is packed away somewhere. So thoughtful – have I mentioned how much I love these workers? I will miss them when they are gone!
