The recent lovely weather has the girls asking for bike rides, and I couldn’t even get to their bikes, let alone their helmets. Now that we’ve been living in the house for two weeks, I’ve really started to get an idea about how much I like this new place. There is still a long way to go, but we are getting there slowly; I need to keep reminding myself that as an only parent of two young(-ish) children, [ READ MORE ]
We really know how to class things up over here as we prep for the new window to be installed tomorrow morning. Since we don’t have a dumpster anymore, I’ve specifically asked the guys to pile all the garbage on the front lawn before hauling it away later, so I can get a picture of [ READ MORE ]
I got home to a flurry of activity in the house after being out to run some errands this morning. The bathrooms are being finished up – mirrors going into place and my shower door is being installed. The guys are also hard at work leaving a big hole in the wall in preparation for [ READ MORE ]
While we certainly had no complaints about the temporary working kitchen the guys installed for us, it’s been so much better to have our actual finished products going into place[ READ MORE ]
